ICE speedway specialists from Poland are heading to Telford for the indoor internationals on February 24.
Marek Mroz and Marcin Sekula will be making their British debut at the Shorpshire rink and promoters Ian Thomas and Graham Drury are convinced both can challenge for the British Open crown.
They'll ride for the Rest of the World Select at 3pm and then take their place in the big individual meeting that evening at 7.30pm.
Said Drury: " I've had conversations with both riders are they're specialists on the ice, they're both up for Telford in a big way.
"They've also both said how they regard Telford as the one they want to win. They've both ridden well in indoor meetings in their home country, but Telford is the title they want.
"Both lads also realise Telford is going to be very different to what they are used to and they will be spectacular, I'm sure of that.
"There's an art to mastering Telford and I'm sure the apperance of both riders will put the cat amongst the pigeons.
"We also have the Czech Republic rider Matyas Hlavacek and he is very experienced on the ice. All these guys will test the big boys who are normally expected to be up there challenging for the honours."
Meanwhile, Telford ticket holders will have a chance to watch an Ice-Hockey match at a discount price to make it a weekend to remember.
Anyone producing their Telford Ice Speedway tickets will be allowed reduced admission to the Telford Tigers v Romford Raiders clash on Saturday 23rd February. Special entry price will be: Adults £5, Children £2. Face off is 5.30pm.
"Both clubs are chasing the play-offs and this is just something else we are able to offer the supporters," said Drury.
"More people than ever before have booked for the weekend and this is a chance for them to take in some more top sporting action.
