Wellington Orbit back in the picture

After a few months of offering just takeaway food, Wellington Orbit the only independent cinema in Telford is back in the film business.

Heading up the cinematic offering in

May are a trio of Oscar-winning films: Nomadland, Judas and the Black Messiah, and Minari. Mamma Mia gets wheeled out for cinema goers who just want to enjoy a fun night out with a glass of wine and for the families, Scoob is the long awaited prequel to everything that Scooby Doo did and didn’t do.

As well as latest releases the snacks and drinks don’t carry the price tags of the big chains. Liam McClelland from the Orbit told Telford Live; “It’s great to be back in business properly, and offering even better value. We are now part of the Meerkat Movies programme so on Tuesdays or Wednesdays tickets are even more affordable.”

Tickets are available online, but be quick because the cinema is still operating at the Covid Safe, reduced capacity.
